Should entrepreneurs talk about how much money their business makes? (Or is it cringe?) My take is backed by science. But first a quick story... So the other day, I wrote a post that mentioned the revenue my businesses did last year.

In the last few weeks I’ve received: - 7 podcast guest invites - 18 brand partner pitches - 3 invites to host webinars - 2 invites to speak at IRL event - 1 job offer (with a $430k salary) - 1 inquiry from a publisher about writing a book

Them: “Say one thing 1,000 ways.” You: “Ok. But how da f*k do I do that?” Me: *tada* Everyone says repeat your core message, right? I’ve said it too because it’s true. But nobody really explains how do it. “Just stay on topic” is shitty advice.

Just when I thought AI comments couldn’t get worse, a new breed appears... Rather than just summarizing the post in agreement, they’ve prompted their tool to subtly *disagree*. It’s that annoying “well, actually...” energy at scale. Fakkk people. No one wants to argue with your bot.

This copywriting book costs $500 on Amazon. And one lesson inside it has easily made me 1000x that. It’s Breakthrough Advertising by Eugene Schwartz. It was written wayyyy back in 1966, and introduced a concept I’ve been obsessed with ever since: Enter: “The mechanism”
